TAFF Delegate's Last Night in London

Vijay sent off with masses of Sri Lankan curry

Your fearless reporter has just returned from the wilds of East Ham, where a small gathering commemorated the final night of VJ Bowen's TAFF trip. Gathering at the Yaal Sri Lankan restaurant were VJ herself, Rob Hansen, Avedon Carol, Cedric (whose last name I can never remember) Alison Scott, Steven Cain, Marianne Cain and surprise visitor Jim Young. Jim reported on Minicon and told us of his new, not-in-Africa house, and we all scoffed cheap and interesting Sri Lankan & South Indian food. I heard snatches of conversation about tattooing bald heads, chocolate, Kosovo, Avedon's mother, extremely short haircuts and catching the last tube train. Vijay is off sometime late afternoon tomorrow and promises that she's got all sorts of embarrassing material to put in her trip report.
