Pam Wells to jump out of an aeroplane

Pam Wells will not be at Novacon. Instead, on the Novacon weekend she will be jumping out of an aeroplane in aid of the charity Children in Need.

She's currently trying to raise enough money to pay for a parachute make a worthwhile contribution - email her for the address to which donations should be sent. Cheques should be made payable to University of York Mature Students' Association. PNN would encourage any readers who think the idea of our Pammy jumping out of an aircraft to be quintessentially hilarious and implausible to make a nice, big donation. Pam will be wearing a red sparkly dress and unsuitable shoes.

The jump will be videotaped for posterity, and we are sure that some future convention committee will arrange a showing, if she raises enough money for the cause.
