Nancy Tucker Shaw Suffers Stroke

Nancy Tucker Shaw, widow of Bob Shaw, has suffered a severe stroke

The following message has been posted in several newsgroups and mailing lists:

Nancy Tucker Shaw, widow of Bob Shaw suffered a massive stroke yesterday afternoon, Sunday September 20.

She's currently in the Intensive care Unit of Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital of Ann Arbor, Michigan. She can't receive flowers in the ICU but e-mail messages, cards and letters are fine and we'll bring them to her as they arrive. If and when she can receive flowers, we'll inform anyone who has inquired.

Nancy is completely paralyzed on the left side of her body and is suffering "dissociation". She's also very confused and disoriented. The doctors aren't holding out a lot of hope, but say that we should know what to expect in the next 48 hours.

Please pass word to all of her friends around the world that their prayers and good wishes are welcome and needed.
