Janice Gelb Wins DUFF

Janice Gelb has won the 1999 DUFF race in the first round of voting

DUFF administrator Janice Murray has posted the results of the 1999 race on rec.arts.sf.fandom.

Janice Gelb, with more than half of the total votes cast, wins in the first round with no redistribution of votes necessary. She will now attend the 1999 Worldcon, Aussiecon 3, in Melbourne.

The total number of votes cast, 329, is very impressive -- nearly four times as many as in the GUFF race for which the results were announced a couple of days ago.
